FIRE SAFETY NOTICE
If you are unable to safely manage stairs and therefore cannot evacuate promptly in the event of a FIRE EMERGENCY, please request a GROUND FLOOR bedroom at the time of booking.

If you are unable to safely manage stairs and therefore cannot evacuate promptly in the event of a FIRE EMERGENCY, please request a ground floor bedroom at the time of booking.

• Ground floor bedrooms are located only in the Coach House and are not wheelchair accessible.

• Availability of ground floor rooms is extremely limited and cannot be guaranteed.

If a suitable ground floor room is not available, and we cannot ensure safe evacuation for your needs, you are welcome to cancel your booking without penalty and seek alternative accommodation that better suits your accessibility requirements.

The Hotel defines a “Disabled Person” as any individual affected by an impairment that may, under certain circumstances, limit their ability to respond safely during a FIRE EMERGENCY.

This may include, but is not limited to:

• Difficulty hearing the fire alarm.

• Impaired vision affecting recognition of emergency signage.

• Limited mobility requiring assistance to evacuate.

If you believe you may fall into this category, please inform Reception upon arrival. You may be asked to complete a PERSONAL EMERGENCY EVACUATION PLAN (PEEP) to ensure appropriate arrangements are in place for your safety.

Your wellbeing is our priority. If you have any questions or specific needs, please speak to a member of staff on arrival.
CONDITIONS
LOSS OR DAMAGE TO GUESTS PROPERTY
Loss or Damage to guests property will only be covered under the "Hotel Proprietors Act 1956"
A copy of which is displayed at the Hotel Reception.
PARKING ON HOTEL GROUNDS.
The Hotel accepts no liability for loss or damage caused to any vehicle or its contents whilst parked on the Hotel grounds.
Vehicles are left solely at the owners risk.
CANDLES
The use live Candles and any other item with a live flame is prohibited in Hotel Bedrooms or Bathrooms as they are a major fire risk.
THE HOTEL HAS A STRICT NO SMOKING POLICY.
Smoking is prohibited in any of the Hotel buildings. Any guest caught smoking will incur a minimum fine of £250.00 and asked to leave.
GUESTS ARE LIABLE FOR ANY DAMAGE THEY MAY CAUSE, DURING THEIR STAY AT THE HOTEL.
Take away meals such as Chinese and Indian are not allowed in Hotel bedrooms. We have experienced damage caused by staining. If you ignore this and any damage is caused you will be required to pay for replacement carpets and bedding. To replace a carpet is extremely expensive.
FOOD OR DRINK CONSUMED AT THE HOTEL.
Only food and drink purchased from the Hotel may be consumed in public areas, including the Lounge, Bar, Restaurant, and Gardens.

Food or drink purchased externally is not permitted in any public area under any circumstances.

You may consume outside food or drink in your bedroom, however you will be liable for any damage caused as a result, including stains, odours, or damage to furnishings, carpets, or bedding.
